Your university
During the introduction week, you will be introduced to your future courses and life at campus. You will hear from both professors, students and the mayor of Aarhus.
Westernparty in the botanical garden
On the 3rd day of the introduction week all new students at Aarhus BSS meet in the botanical garden for a giant costume party. Be prepared to pull off a dancing grape, a singing smurf, or someting even more original!
Introduction trip in Vigsø
In september all new students and their intruktors travel to Vigsø for a weekend full of music, games and party.
Pure shots iPod Battle
Battle your new study-mates in who has the greatest playlist.The playlist which receives the best crowd-reaction will win a huge prize, and most importantly, the bragging rights!
Events
During the introduction days, you among will experience case solving with QVARTZ and Danske Bank, Lix Riddle Hunt. teambuilding activities and lots of other fun events.
Klubben in the evening
In the evening all new students meet in the legendary Klubben for dinner, “hygge” and party.
CA Olympics
In collaboration with CA a-kasse we invite you to the Olympic Battles where you will compete with your fellow students in the race of becoming the best introduction team.
Live concerts
On Saturday night on the introduction trip we have invited a special act to come and start the party with us at Vigsø! Who it will be is still a secret, but we can guarante you that it is going to be a night to remember!

Throughout the whole introduction week & trip, your personal instruktors will answer all the questions you might have, and make sure you have the best possible start at Aarhus BSS, Aarhus University.
Here is a list of relevant information
- “SO WHERE’S THIS GOING DOWN?”
The introduction week will start monday the 26th of August at 8:00 AM at Fuglesangs Allé 4, 8210 Aarhus V in the S-Building. The introduction trip will take place in Vigsø from the 13th to the 15th of september. Your instruktors will tell you more details regarding the introduction trip during the introduction week.
- “WHAT PARTIES EXACTLY?”
Valid question! We’re talking live DJ’s, Lix Riddle Hunt and the notorious Western Party in Botanisk Have!
You will get dinner all three nights as well.
- “I HAVEN’T RECEIVED MY STUDENT ID YET…?”
Don’t worry. During the intro days we’ll hand out a temporary card for you to participate in the events, so you won’t miss a thing.
- “WHAT DOES IT COST?”
The different activites and events during the days are free. An Introduction Week Ticket costs 399 DKK. This price covers dinner all three nights, lunch the first day, parties all three nights, costume and the legendary party at the Botanical Gardens.
Nothing is mandatory, but we strongly encourage you to participate in both the day- and night programme all three days.
