The Buddy Programme
Every year, Aarhus BSS welcomes hundreds of international students who are studying their entire bachelor or master degree at Aarhus BSS.
To give them the best possible start to their life in Aarhus, Studenterlauget created the Buddy Programme in 2006.
Each year, the Buddy Programme coordinators will hire new buddies, who are current students at Aarhus BSS, to welcome the newcomers (new full-degree international students at Aarhus BSS) by creating a bunch of social events, making new friends and have fun.
The events that will be held for the Buddy Programme 2019 are
- September 7th, Introduction day
- October 11th, Pubcrawl
- November 22nd, Christmas dinner
I have questions, where can I find the answers?

In 2012 Studenterlauget’s Buddy Programme won the Danish qualification round in the highly recognized Charlemagne’s Youth Prize 2012.
The European Charlemagne Youth Prize aims to encourage the development of European consciousness among young people, as well as their participation in European integration projects.
The Prize is awarded to projects undertaken by young people that foster understanding, promote the development of a shared sense of European identity, and offer practical examples of Europeans living together as one community. The European Charlemagne Youth Prize is awarded jointly and annually by the European Parliament and the Foundation of the International Charlemagne Prize of Aachen.
