High quality. Low prices. It’s quite simple. It’s Lidl.
What started as a small, independent grocery wholesaler in southern Germany is now one of the leading food retailers in Europe with more than 12.000 stores and more than 360,000 employees worldwide.
The first Lidl stores in Denmark saw the light of day in 2005. Today, more than 140 Lidl stores are located all over the country with many more to come.
Over 3.800 talented people are currently working for Lidl Danmark. In our stores across the country, in our two logistics centres, in our regional offices in Kolding and Køge and in our current headquarter in Kolding. As part of our ambitious plans of expansion, we are building a brand new headquarter in Aarhus, which is expected to be done in 2023.
“The one who stops getting better, stops being good” is our mantra. Therefore, we are constantly taking new actions to improve our business. In recent years, we have increased our focus on sustainability with initiatives such as an ambitious plastic strategy aiming to decrease our plastic use with 25 percent by 2025, as well as our national collaboration with Too Good To Go to fight food waste and our social outreach programme with Blå Kors.
So, a career at Lidl Danmark can take you all over the world.
