Aarhus BSS, Aarhus University and Studenterlauget welcomes all new students.
To make it an easier start for you at Aarhus University, we have gathered some practical information for you. All the activities will start at Campus Fuglesangs Allé 4, 8210 Aarhus V.
Commencement of studies
Wednesday 30st of August from 09.00-13:00: Are you an International Student or a new student at Aarhus University, Aarhus BSS then your Master Intro starts on Wednesday in week 35. The day is reserved for the international students and new students at Aarhus BSS, who will get a thorough introduction to studying in Denmark and to the different social activities available in Aarhus. This day will focus on life as a student in Denmark. Also, you will get an introduction to our IT platforms..
Thursday 31st of August from 08.00-23.00: ALL new Master students are expected to participate in the organized events Thursday and Friday. As a former student at Aarhus BSS then your Master Intro starts on this date. Thursday, the focus will be on your study programme with an introduction to your new classmates and the structure of your programme and some team building activities including a case challenge. In the evening, you can participate in an evening programme with Hygge and social activities. Please bring your own computer this Thursday.
It will be possible to buy food during the day, but you are also more than welcome to bring your own.
Friday 1st of September from 08.00-02.00:Friday, you will be part of several activities, e.g. a guide to your master programme and team building activities with your new fellow students, and in the evening, you are invited to a BIG party on campus with dinner, and music. It’s NOT possible to come later than 19:30.

The Evening Program hosted by Studenterlauget
After the daily activities on Thursday and Friday, we invite you to participate in the evening programme hosted by Studenterlauget in Klubben, the student bar on the Fuglesangs Alle campus. This is an amazing opportunity to get more time to get to know and party with your fellow master students. The evening program is exclusively for new Master Students at Aarhus BSS, and it is only possible to join with an Introduction Week Evening Ticket. The Introduction Week Evening Ticket includes dinner, one beverage each night, wardrobe, and a party at Klubben both Thursday and Friday night. Students who have purchased the Introduction Week Evening Ticket will be given a wristband on Thursday. Studenterlauget finds it very important to stress that none of the activities are mandatory. However, we strongly encourage you to attend all the activities in the Introduction Week including the evening programme. You will be able to buy The Introduction Week Evening Ticket on Thursday during the Introduction Week. All purchases can be made on your smartphone or computer (remember your credit card). The prices are listed below. When purchasing your Introduction Week Evening Ticket, you will be granted a discount, if you also become a member of Studenterlauget. The discount will be greater if you buy a 2-year membership.
